Storyboard

Starting with blackness, the vial materializes. As the vial is filled, the background color fills in along with it. After that, a cap comes on the top and the type fades in as a result. As the vial empties, there is a steady shift in type from Jekyll to Hyde, and as it refills this is reversed. Then there is a rapid sequence of the two polarizing personalities through rapid shifting of the vial color and type, the vial being steadily raised until symbolically Hyde completely takes over, and the vial is smashed down.

The meaning of this animation is to display the bipolarity of Jekyll when coincided with Hyde, and how this switch between persona becomes more rapid and unstable as the story progresses. In the end, the vial being smashed is when Dr. Jekyll reaches the point of no return, snapping into his self-induced madness.
