Essay

This movie is about a Negro League baseball player named Jackie Robinson (Chadwick Bossman). After watching this film, I gained a new appreciation for Jackie Robinson as a person. He was the first African American player to play in a league full of whites. In 1946 Robinson was recruited by a Major League executive by the name of Branch Rickey). Rickey recruited Robinson to break the color barrier as the first African American player. During his time playing on the Brooklyn Dodgers with predominantly white players he had to endure people booing him because he was black, and even being called racial slurs by the baseball manager Ben Chapman (Alan Tudyk) of one of his opponent’s team. One of his teammates by the name of Eddie Stanky (Jesse Luke) approached Chapman after his constant heckling to Robinson while he was at bat. Robinson was truly courageous and admirable with the way he dealt with all the abuse and eventually he silenced most of his critics with his amazing play on the field. Overtime Robinson gained some allies on his team.

I want the stitches of the baseball to spin around

here is when the first baseball of the slide disperses and turns into 25 small baseballs. I made of of the baseball red just to represent Jackie Robinson being the only person of color on the Brooklyn Dodgers.

the baseball from the previous slide would transitions into small circle to create the lights that are in the baseball stadium. A baseball will be in directly between the two sets of lights

the ball is sent soaring between the sets of lights, leaves the number 42 behind.

name of the movie is introduces and a couple of the main stars in the film.

The 42 to will shrink down to become smaller and sit with the other numbers. All the numbers represent numbers from players of the Brooklyn Dodgers. Again I made number of Jackie Robinson blue to represent him being the only person of color.
