William Lebeda is a graphic designer, animator, and director who has worked in the entertainment industry since the early 1990s.
Since joining Picture Mill in 1995, William has designed and directed projects for motion pictures, advertising agencies, and television.
In 2003, he was named both the best and worst film title designer in ID Magazine’s ID Forty list for two wildly different projects: Panic Room for David Fincher and Signs for M. Night Shyamalan.

I am a classically trained graphic designer. Though I always loved movies and animation, I didn’t really get involved in film until graduate school at CalArts, where I studies ‘Experimental Animation.’ It was a program teaching animation techniques and filmmaking, but not traditional animated cartoons. This was in the early 90’s. We learned almost everything by hand on optical printers and Oxberry cameras. After Effects wouldn’t be invented for 5 years…
