Film Research

The color palette throughout the movie is basically black and white, giving respect to an old film. The first scene starts off with a white laboratory where everyone is in white coats. Dr. Fredrick insists on pronouncing his last name "Frokensteen" because his infamous grandfather was responsible for the reanimation of the dead, thus Fredrick felt in denial.

Fredrick arrived at an estate that turns out to be a castle. Inside is an entrance where Frau Blucher, Fredrick, Inga, and Eyegor are standing with a few relics from Medieval times. Baron's full name carved in stone is written on the fireplace.

Fredrick and Eyegor dug up a coffin at the creepy cemetery after being recently buried. The two gentlemen came out of the hole with a lantern right next to them and started to rain as Eyegor said" could've been worse", "it could've rain".

He and his assistants are in the laboratory with a monster locked on the table. Everything around them are glass bottles and tubes, levers, and machinery. Fredrick commands them to hoist up as he is about to bring the monster to life.

Blucher plays the violin, the same tune been played since the very beginning, that soothes the monster after she set it free. She was the one who lure Fredrick into the laboratory to make him recreate his grandfather's work.

Fredrick excepted his fate as a Frankenstein by demonstrating it to other scientists at the theater. He and the monster perform "Puttin on the Ritz" in their tuxedos and top hats on stage with a glittering black curtain as a background.

The townspeople with their lit-up torches walk into a dark forest. The mist creates this scene a spooky feeling as they search for the monster but with caution.

Fredrick and the monster are locked up on the table with metal helmets and plastic wires connected to each other's heads. Eyegor pulls the levers down when the transfusion is complete.

The movie ends with Elizabeth changing her hairstyle that portrays Bride of Frankenstein in a luxury bedroom in her white floral nightgown.
