Submitting Work

There are two places where you need to submit each project: First you need to publish it to VIMEO and then post the VIMEO embed link on the class website.

VIMEO

Go to http://www.vimeo.com and login with:
Email address: oroeger@uicdesign.com
Password: UICDES251#DMDIII

At the upper right area of the page you'll see a dark blue link with an arrow pointing upwards saying "New Video". Choose your clip and upload it to VIMEO. This may take a while. Once the movie is uploaded you have the option to get the embed code which you'll use to add the clip to the class website: Click the paper plane "share" icon in the top right corner of your clip. If you don't see the dialog window below click the blue icon on the right first and go to "Customize this embed". Once there, make the adjustment described below and copy the "Embed" code (it starts with "iframe..."). Paste this code in the input field at the bottom of the entry page of the class website.

For the Flow and Motion Poster clips make sure you check he "Loop this video" option before you copy the embed code. If you don't see the loop option click "Customize the embed" first.

Class Website

Got to http://www.uicdesign.com/DES/admin.php and login with:

There are 2 classes/groups, "A" and "B". Use the "Create" or "Edit" menu and choose the assignment within your group. There are four assignments for each group

Group A is the 9:00–11:40 class, Group B is the 1:00–3:40 class.

Chose the "Create" option for submitting your project. Once you have your project submitted you can use the "Edit" option to update an existing entry (add or delete a clip, edit the description etc.).

Please always write your name into the "Title" field together with the name of the assignment ("e-motion" or "kinetic type"}.
