Flowing chocolate, is an interesting idea I want to play with, whether I go more literal or abstract with it.
Cool text effects used in movie, that could be interesting to take into title sequence. these eventually morphed into words, such as brat, Shame, Blame, etc.
Great outfit close up. I wanted to look at the fashion/costumes of the characters to see if there was a away to incorporate it into the title sequence, if anything the clothing colors are interesting, and are all unique pieces.
I think it could be interesting to make the text represent what happened to each kid. if anything, the colors in here are fun, pink, yellow, blue, etc. Augustus was sucked up.
Cool scenery shot, love all the colors, and really enforces to the whimsical, nonsensical feeling I want to go for.
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is a family film with a slightly dark undertone. The film focuses on the five golden ticket winners, and as their visit with Mr. Wonka unravels, viewers receive the message that good kids will be rewarded and bad kids will not. The movie condemns many things including gum-chewing, television, spoiling, over-eating, and self-indulgence. These are most recognizable traits in the four children: Verruca being selfish, Violet being rude, Mike being vain, and Augustus being gluttonous. In the beginning of the movie, the golden ticket contest winners embark on their tour of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. One by one each kid is ejected and punished in unfortunate, ridiculous ways due to their respective negative trait. Meanwhile, the movie praises selflessness, as represented in Charlie, who is at last, the only character remaining.
