Portfolio Sites: Sitemap/Navigation

Possible Scenarios

A few options that came to my mind. Will add more here if someone comes up with something else. The sitemap will often directly affect the navigation menu.

3 levels: Portfolio overview page contains list with links to all project pages. List could be type or images (or a combination).

3 levels: Portfolio split up in 2nd level. More links in navigation menu but clearer separation of school and personal work.

2 levels: Home page is the portfolio overview page. Only 2 links in navigation menu.

2 levels: UIC and personal sections are long pages containing all the classes/projects. In order to keep scrolling limited, the project images are small but could be opened up large in a Lightbox.

3 levels: Years become 2nd level. Most menu items in navigation but still manageable
